What to expect?
When you book an appointment you will receive the inspection agreement/contract for service, as well as a link to payment options. Payment can be made in advance or at the time of service, your choice.
The inspector will begin by inspecting the exterior of the home including the roof. We try to walk every roof we inspect, but our safety will always come first. The decision is left to the inspector.
You are invited to accompany the inspector throughout the inspection (except the roof and attic space). You will see what the inspector sees and can ask questions for clarification. If you do not wish to follow the inspector, you can rest-assured the report will be thorough, clear, and have documenting photos of each section of the home. After the inspection is completed, the inspector will go through the photos taken and explain any issues or deficiencies found.
The inspection will include:
Driveways, Footpaths, Decks, Porches, Patios, Grading, Roofs, Flashing, Venting, Gutters, Downspouts, Chimneys, Siding, Windows, Doors, Electrical Service Drop, and AC Equipment if applicable.
Attic Space (if accessible), Plumbing, Electrical, Ceiling, Walls, Windows, Floors, Doors, Moisture Penetration, Ventilation, Appliances, Water Heater, Furnace/Boiler, AC, Foundation, and any Adjacent Retaining Walls.
